Are you good enough to win an award for Student of the Month? Students of the Month are students that show off their best effort in every class.
This January, the eighth grade students of the month were: Drew Bachman, Emma Boyd, Bryanna Colores, and Simon Pierce. Congratulations and keep up the hard work!
The seventh grade students of the month were: Audrey Herrera, Christian Jimenez, Alexandria Paquet, and Jeremy Reece. Congratulations and keep up the hard work!
Simon Pierce, also known as Simon, loves math because it is his highest grade. Simon's favorite thing to do is to sing and would like to sing professionally in ten years. Simon's favorite singer is himself. He finally added that he wanted everyone to know that he was Student of the Month for January.
Drew Bachman, also known as Drew Bucannon, also loves math because it is his favorite subject. His favorite thing to do is play basketball and football and would like to continue it through college in ten years. His favorite singer is Simon. He would also like to add that Mrs. Johnson is the best math teacher ever!
Bryanna Colores' favorite class is geometry and science because they are fun, and she likes her teachers. Her favorite thing to do is draw and in ten years she sees herself working her dream job as an engineer. Her favorite singer is Bruno Mars.
Emma Boyd, also known as known as Em, loves English because she likes to read and write. Emma's favorite things to do is read, watch Teen Wolf, and cheer for OJHS. Emma thinks she will be living in NYC studying photo journalism at Syracuse or NYU in ten years. If she doesn't succeed becoming a journalist, Emma would love to work in a law enforcement like the FBI.
Jeremy Reece Reece loves the subjects math and science because he likes the teachers that teach them. Jeremy's favorite things to do is run, eat, play basketball, and hang out with his friends. He sees himself in ten years married and living somewhere near a beach working as a firefighter.
Christian Jimenez, also known as Pollo, loves the class's math and physical education because he likes numbers and activities. His favorite things to do are playing soccer, playing football, and playing board games. Pollo sees himself playing soccer for the US National Team. He would also like everyone to know that he has one brother and two sisters.
Audrey Herrera's favorite class is Mrs. Wink's math class because all of her friends are in the class. Her favorite thing to do is dance, swim, and play with her dog Boomer. In ten years, Audrey sees herself in a high quality college. Finally, she adds that she loves this school and all of her teachers.
And last but not least, Alexandria Paquet, also known as Alex, loves history in Mr. Lindemulder because all of her friends are in that class. Her favorite thing to do is play basketball, but she doesn't know what she will be doing in ten years. She also added that she loves pizza.
