Super November Students of the Month

Hey Mustangs! Are you wanting to be chosen for Student of the Month? These are our amazing Student of the Month for November. These students have stood out in all of their classes, given great effort, and been great hard workers. Student of the Month is a great honor to be given here at Orcutt Junior High. The students chosen for Student of the Month are great friends, people to know, and all around stellar students.
For the month of November, the chosen seventh grade students were: Christian Dahlberg, Tristan Hodgkinson, Chloe Johnson, and Paityn Persson. Congratulations to these awesome students! Way to go, and keep up the hard work!


Christian Dahlberg, or Chris for short, is a rockin' seventh grader here at OJHS. Chris' favorite class here is history because it's easy and fun to learn about new stuff. Fallout Boy is Christian's favorite band. Skating and playing video games are his favorite things to do. In 10 years, Chris hopes to be a pilot.


Chloe Johnson, known as Chlojo, is a crazy cool seventh grader at OJHS. Chloe's favorite class here is English because she gets to write essays. An interesting fact about Chloe is that she had heart surgery when she was little. One Direction is Chlojo's favorite band. In 10 years, Chloe thinks she will be teaching at Patterson Road School.


Tristan Hodgkinson is an interesting seventh grader here at OJHS. Tristan's favorite class is Mrs. Fredriks history class because he gets to play games on Friday, with little homework. Daft Punk is his favorite band. Tristan's favorite things are to play sports and hang out with his friends. Tristan loves to watch his hundreds of animals. In 10 years, Tristan thinks he will be trying to get into a college.


Paityn Persson is a super fun seventh grader here at OJHS. Paityn's favorite singer is Selena Gomez. Paityn's favorite class is Winkelpleck because she likes math, and has good friends in that class. Paityn's hobbies include playing basketball and soccer. Starbucks is her BAE! Paityn doesn't know she'll be doing in 10 years because she likes to live in the present, not the future. For the month of November, the eighth grade students chosen for Student of the Month are: Nathan Calhoun, Regan Fowler, Mason Gonzalez, and Regan Fowler. Congratulations to our hard working Students of the Month!
Mason Gonzalez, known as Mayshin, is an amazing eighth grader here at OJHS. Journalism is Mason's favorite class because it's a hard class to get into, and he's learned a lot this year. Fetty Wap is Mayshin's favorite artist. Playing ping pong and basketball are his favorite hobbies. In 10 years, Mason pictures himself playing basketball in college at SDSU.


Amy Howarter, nicknamed Amy, is a really nice eighth grader at OJHS. Amy's favorite class is journalism because her favorite teacher is Mr. Salinas, and she has close friends in the class. Taylor Swift is her favorite singer. Binge watching youtube videos are Amy's favorite things to do. In 10 years, Amy pictures herself working at Disneyland.


Nathan Calhoun, known as Nate, is a marvelous eighth grader at OJHS. Leadership is Nate's favorite class is Leadership because he gets a chance to lead others, and he gets freedom. Imagine Dragons is his favorite band. Watching youtube, playing sports, and traveling, are Nathan's favorite things to do. In 10 years, Nathan thinks he'll be finishing up his masters degree in retinary medicine, so he can start his own practice.


Regan Fowler, also known as Crash, is a dazzling eighth grader here at OJHS. Regan's favorite subject is math because she gets to do fun things. Training colts and rodeos are Regan's favorite things to do. In 10 years, Regan hopes to be studying sports medicine and going to rodeos.


Congratulations to our wonderful Students of the Month for November! If you want to be chosen for Student of the Month, try hard, do your best, work to your potential, be a good team member, be outgoing, and always do the right thing! Go get em' Mustangs!
